How to delete/disable the search button & how to put an icon on the top menu bar

  Hello, please tell me how can i disable the search button. I put the search form on the top bar/right and i only want the form to be there.

  And one more thing. I want to put an icon on the top bar menu. I have 5 links in the menu, 4 text and one icon. The first link must be an icon.
